We've had several books over the years. This is by far the best for beginners in our opinion--it will answer all the important questions and covers every aspect of keeping rabbits for meat (housing/breeding/harvesting/feeding/diseases/etc.)

We use Tucker Milling Nature Crest line for all our animals. Fantastic company based in Alabama. Great products and excellent customer service. We feed rationed Nature Crest pellets, free feed locally grown orchard grass hay, and organic forage harvested on our property.
